This collection was created as part of the Surface Pattern Designers Color Collaboration, a creative project where designers work from the same shared palette to explore how colour can shape very different visual worlds.
The palette combines hot pinks and bright lime accents with deep greens, reds and charcoal tones, softened with lavender atmospheres and layered textures that add richness and depth.

Maximalist Fantasy Chinoiserie - Gothic
These designs explore the darker, more theatrical side of the Maximalist Chinoiserie Fantasy collection.
Charcoal stems rise like ink drawings, anchoring the composition in strong silhouettes while bold florals bloom around them in saturated colour. Hot pinks, deep greens and rich reds are sparked with flashes of lime yellow, creating dramatic contrast against layered grounds of old rose and warm fawn.
The result feels gothic in mood. A twilight garden where chinoiserie elegance meets expressive, mid-century mark making. Decorative, dramatic and richly atmospheric, these patterns are designed to make a statement.
